§ Mr. Skeetasked the Prime Minister if she is satisfied with the administrative co-ordination relating to the inspection of the safety of offshore oil and gas installations in the North Sea between the Department of Energy, the Department of Trade and the Health and Safety Executive; and whether she will conside transferring all administrative ressponsibilities to a single composite authority within the Department of Energy.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Burgoyne report, which deals with safety on offshore oil and gas installations, was published on 6 March as Cmnd. 7866. It is being studied by the Government.
