Mr. Flannery

asked the Attorney-General on how many occasions the Director of Public Prosecutions has investigated allegations of torture or maltreatment of people held in Castlereigh or Gough detention centres where he has found that there has been either torture or maltreatment and has decided however that no prosecution is possible; in how many of these cases the same person subsequently was found guilty of a crime; and in how many of those cases this was solely on self-admission.
