§ Mr. Campbell-Savoursasked the Secretary of State for Industry what undertakings were given by Thames Board Mills Limited as to the number of jobs to be created, following the allocation of Industry Act assistance to that company in the years from 1974 to 1979, and on completion of the current investment programme.
§ Mr. David Mitchell[pursuant to his reply, 7 March, 1980, c. 377]: According to the criteria for both section 8 assistance and regional development grants 591W under the Industry Act 1972, no such undertakings were either required or given.
