asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many indictable offences were committed in Northern Ireland in each of the last five years; and what percentage of these offences was perpetrated by under 18year-olds.

The numbers of indictable offences reported to the Royal Ulster Constabulary in each of the last five years were as follows:

It is not possible to state what percentage of indictable offences committed in any year were perpetrated by any given age group. The total number of people found guilty, and the number of those under 18 years old, are set out below:
