Traffic control equipment for use on motorways is almost entirely of British manufacture, but a foreign supplier provides some equipment for use on other 534W roads, and this employs foreign components. Various products from this supplier are currently being tested and if found acceptable would be available for general use. As a result the company concerned is likely to increase its share of the market, the value of which stands at present at £2 million per annum.
