asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the total number of electors included in the 1980–81 electoral registers for each of the districts in Humberside.

The latest available figures are for 1979 and have been published by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys in the OPCS Monitor "Electoral Statistics" (Reference EL. 79/3) copies of which are in the Library of the House. Provisional figures for the 1980 register will be published in an OPCS Monitor in a few months' time.
