§ Mr. Guy Barnettasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he has any proposals to reduce the number of courses for married women entitled "Wider Opportunities for Women" currently being run by the Manpower Services Commission.
§ Mr. Jim LesterI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that, following the favourable evaluation of experimental wider opportunities for women courses mounted in Birmingham and Cardiff during 1978, a modest expansion in the number of courses is proposed for the 1980–81 financial year.
