asked the Attorney-General how many solicitors, banisters and Queen's Counsel, respectively are in practice in Northern Ireland.

The Attorney-General

There are at present 24 Queen's Counsel and 153 members of the Junior Bar in practice in Northern Ireland. In the case of solicitors, the Incorporated Law Society for Northern Ireland issued a total of 851 practising certificates during 1979.
