§ Mr. Eggarasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will detail the average price per therm of gas delivered for (a) industrial consumers on non-interruptible contracts, (b) industrial consumers on interruptible contracts, and (c) domestic consumers as at 1 January; and if he will give his estimate of the price per therm as above as at 1 June and 1 December 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983.
§ Mr. Norman Lamont[pursuant to his reply, 6 March 1980, c. 321]: Contract prices of gas are a matter for the British Gas Corporation and I shall ask the chairman to write to my hon. Friend. Concerning domestic gas prices, I have nothing further to add to the reply given to my hon. Friend on 28 January.
