§ Mr. HeseltineThe information for 1960, when three different ministries were involved, is not readily available. I will write to my hon. Friend about this shortly. On 1 February this year there were 48,862.5 staff in post of whom 28,512.5 were non-industrial staff and 20,350 were industrial staff.
