Mr. Austin Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will publish in the Official Report figures showing for the whole or a representative sample of local authority housing the values fixed in 1979 by the district valuers on the sale of houses to tenants as a percentage of the original cost and as a multiple of the rent for (a) pre-war houses, (b) houses built between 1945 and 1960, (c) those built between 1960 and 1973 and (d) those built after 1973.
