HC Deb 06 March 1980 vol 980 cc299-300W
Mr. Heddle

asked the Attorney-General what is the average length of time Her Majesty's Land Registry takes to register a transaction and to state how many trans- actions still are awaiting registration after (a) two months, (b) three months and (c) six months.

The Solicitor-General

The average times currently taken for registration in cases which are in order are 24 working days for dealing with registered land where no new title is created and 69 working days for a new title. No figures are available to show how many transactions are still in the course of registration after any particular period.
