HL Deb 04 March 1980 vol 406 c246WA
Lord WIGG

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the whole or any part of Mr. Aglionby's Totalisator Board Report, other than the information given by the Home Secretary in answer to a written question on 4th February, was conveyed to a member of the Totalisator Board or to a person employed by the board by a member of the Government or by any civil servant either orally or in writing or by allowing any person to read the report wholly or in part.

Lord BELSTEAD:

My right honourable friend the Home Secretary sent a copy of Mr. Aglionby's report to the chairman of the Horserace Totalisator Board, at whose request the inquiry was set up.
