asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many applications were received under the job release scheme in Dundee and Scotland in each year since 1977; how many were aged 64 years; and how many were aged 60 to 64 years in each instance.

Since the start of the job release scheme in January 1977 a total of 752 applications have been approved in Dundee, but a breakdown of this figure by year and age is not available. Information on the number of applications approved in Scotland is set out in the table below.
