HC Deb 03 March 1980 vol 980 c19W
Mr. Canavan

asked the Prime Minister whether she will conduct an inter-departmental investigation to see if there is adequate co-ordination between the Department of the Environment, the Scottish Office and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in dealing with complaints about the use of 2, 4, 5-T or any other chemical preparation containing dioxin; and if she will make a statement.

The Prime Minister

No. All necessary co-ordination between these and the other Departments concerned is already secured through their direct involvement in the work of the Advisory Committee on Pesticides.
