However, I understand that the Spanish Government have undertaken that catches by Spanish vessels—the only vessels from a member country of the International Whaling Commission which normally fish the Spain-Portugal-British Isles stock—will not exceed the catch limit of 143 whales already set for 1980, pending a review of the catch limit at the Commission's annual meeting next month.
