§ Mr. Parkinson[pursuant to his reply,26 June 1980 c. 233]: Imports into the United Kingdom of polyester filament yarn and nylon carpet yarn from the United States, and other suppliers, have been made subject to quantitative restrictions and the Community has imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports from the United States of acrylic fibres.
The Community is also continuing to discuss with the United States the extent of the advantage which accrues to United States' producers as a result of United States domestic energy policy with a view to finding some resolution of the issue.
