§ Mr. GoodhartThe governing body comprises 42 members, appointed in accordance with regulations 4, 5 and 6 of the Ulster Polytechnic Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1978. Nine of the present members have been reappointed for a second term; three for a third term; three for a fourth term; and two for a fifth term. Mr. G. P. Bell and Mr. R. D. Rolston have been reappointed most often, that is for a fifth term of office.
None—apart from the rector—receive emoluments. The amount of travelling and subsistence expenses paid to members of the governing body is not readily available.
