§ Mr. HayhoeThere are about 72,000 married quarters in the United Kingdom occupied by Service personnel. Some 650 Service men and women are awaiting allocation of married quarters. In a few places there is a local excess of demand over supply and in others some individuals are waiting for a specific type of quarter, a preferred location or a convenient time to move.
