§ Mr. Guy Barnettasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why he has decided not to follow the precedent set by the New Towns (Amendment) Act 1976 in his treatment of staff of new towns who may be made redundant as a consequence of the operation of provisions contained in clauses 109 to 114 of the Local Government, Planning and Land (No. 2) Bill.
