Mr. Freeson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish details of the size and sites of land held by the Property Services Agency in Greater London and their dates of purchase; and what are the programme intentions for their future use.

British Library Site, Euston Road, Somerstown 5–10 1976 Proposed site for the new British Library building.
Battersea General Hospital, Prince of Wales Drive, Battersea 0.53 Dec 1979 Under consideration by DHSS as a site for a reception centre. Derelict hospital buildings to be demolished.
Broad Sanctuary, Storey's Gate 0.65 Various dates between 1904 and 1945 Proposed site for the International Conference Centre.
Land at Willow Tree Lane, Yeading, Hayes (4 separate holdings) 34.91 1940 3.6 HA to be sold to Hilling-don and 2.7 HA to GLC. The rest will be sold when access is provided by the new Hayes By-pass.
Hampton Site, Trafalgar Square .19 1955 Reserved for possible extension of National Gallery or to rehouse National Portrait Gallery. At present used as a car park.
