Mr. Frank Allaun

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) what consultations have taken place about the United States exercise Global Shield in so far as it could involve United States military personnel stationed in the United Kingdom;

(2) whether information has been made available to the British Government concerning the outcome of the United States exercise Global Shield in so far as it may affect the strategic role of military bases in the United Kingdom.
