§ Mr. RossiOn 31 May 1980 there were 33,392 civil servants employed in the Northern Ireland Civil Service and the Northern Ireland Office.
Presumptions of religious belief are not necessary for the recruitment or employment of civil servants in Great Britain or Northern Ireland and I do not therefore propose to make them.
