§ Mr. Jim LesterRegional figures are not available, but for Great Britain provisional estimates show that between December 1979 and March 1980 the number of people employed in the manufacture of hosiery and other knitted goods fell by 2,500. Between March 1979 and March 1980 the number fell by 5,400.
