§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Defence why, in view of the ban on arms sales to Chile, that country was included in the list he gave, Official Report, 15 April, column 618, of countries with which contracts for military equipment were signed in 1979; and if he will make a statement setting out the details of arms contracts with Chile and how they came to be signed in apparent contravention of Government policy as reported to the House in successive answers to parliamentary questions.
