§ Mr. Cookasked the Lord Privy Seal if Her Majesty's Government will halt arms sales to the following countries, in view of the infringement of human rights by their Governments: Argentina, Bahrain, Bolivia, Brazil, Cameroons, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Republic of Korea, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela and Zaire.

§ Mr. HurdNo. Her Majesty's Government at present ban exports of defence equipment to Iran. Arms sales to the other countries mentioned are considered case by case on their merits. Human rights factors are taken into account.
