§ Mr. RaisonA number of hon. Members and others have drawn my attention to the anomalies in the present law on Sunday trading, and we are examining the restraints which the Shops Act 1950 places on shopping hours and trading on Sunday. But we do not expect there to be an early opportunity for Government legislation on this subject.
