§ Mr. GrayIn 1979 about 50 per cent. of North Sea oil was sold overseas and this pattern has continued in the first quarter of 1980. The quantities sold to individual countries are set out below. The estimated value of these sales was £2.7 billion in 1979 and £10 billion in the first quarter of 1980.
