§ Mr. Skeetasked the Minister of Transport what steps have been taken towards the establishment of a Community driving licence conformable to a European model; and when it is likely to receive recognition by the Council of Ministers.
§ Mr. FowlerNegotiations at official level have been taking place between member States. I will be discussing the subject at the next Council of Transport Ministers on 24 June, but before concluding any final agreement in the Council I will seek the further views of the House.
