Specialist advisers are not paid salaries. They are paid on a "per diem" basis on production of evidence of work done. The daily rates are based on their age, qualifications and experience and on the nature and degree of complication of the work to be done. The rates vary from 274W a minimum of £15 to a maximum of £40 per day.
