Mr. Heddle

asked the Secretary of State for Industry (1) what is the total amount paid by the Post Office in compensation for missing parcels and mail for each year during the last five years;

(2) what is the average time taken for receiving compensation for missing letters or parcels from the Post Office;

(3) how many individual claims for compensation for missing parcels and mail have been made over the last five years.
