§ Sir Brandon Rhys Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish a table showing his latest estimate of the number of households with incomes (a) below supplementary benefit levels, (b) at supplementary benefit levels, (c) within 120 per cent. of supplementary benefit levels, and (d) at between 120 per cent. and 140 per cent. of supplementary benefit levels, taking the long-term supplementary benefit rates for all adults, and adding the value of either free schools meals or free welfare milk to the supplementary benefit rates for children, distinguishing between households above and below retirement age, between households with and without dependent children, and between one and two-parent families, specifying the total number of children at each income level, and showing what proportions of all children and of all pensioners are represented at each income level.

§ Sir Brandon Rhys Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish a table for each of a single person, a married couple and a couple with two children, comparing net weekly incomes when earning £100 per week with net weekly incomes, including and excluding tax refunds, during the weeks 1. 2, 3 to 8, 9 to 28 and 29 onwards of sickness (a) under the existing system, and (b) after the implementation of current Government proposals, including the recommendations in the Green Paper.
