HC Deb 10 June 1980 vol 986 c94W
Q47. Mr. Austin Mitchell

asked the Prime Minister whether it will be open to a United Kingdom Government, under the compromise solution agreed for the United Kingdom contribution to the European Economic Community budget, to refuse to agree to any remission of payments made by the United Kingdom in 1982 so long as agreement has not been reached on farm prices for 1982–83.

The Prime Minister

: There is nothing I can usefully add to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member's earlier question on 5 June.
