§ Sir George YoungThere are no detailed statistics of deaths by ethnic origin as distinct from birthplace. However, approximate estimates suggest that over the last 10 years the number of deaths, in Great Britain, of persons of New Commonwealth and Pakistani ethnic origin has risen gradually from about 73W 4,000 per annum to about 6,000 per annum.
