asked Her Majesty's Government:

What quantity of heroin was seized by Her Majesty's Customs and Excise from a car aboard the Motor Vessel "Huating" when it arrived at the Royal Albert Docks in September 1978.

As stated in court, 17.65 kilos of heroin were discovered in the rear wheels of a Volkswagen saloon car imported on the Motor Vessel "Huating" when it arrived at the Royal Albert Docks in September 1978 and a further 14.35 kilos of heroin was discovered in the rear wheels of a Volkswagen saloon car imported on the Motor Vessel "Qui-Shu" which also arrived at the Royal Albert Docks in September 1978.
