§ Mr. ParkinsonThe market entry guarantee scheme was introduced on 26 January 1978. Seventeen companies entered into agreements in the first year of the scheme; 27 in the second year; and nine to date in the current year. A further nine companies are considering offers of agreements. Forty-three applications are under consideration.
