§ Mr. Ripponasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in view of the recent resolutions of the Westminster city council and the observations of the Royal Fine Art Commission, he will take steps to ensure that there is a public inquiry into any proposal affecting the future of Jubilee Hall, Covent Garden.
§ Mr. MonroMy right hon. Friend is keeping the position under review. He will consider the need for an inquiry in relation to his possible involvement in the case if it comes before him on appeal, and in relation to the possibility of calling in any applications for planning permission or listed building consent.
