§ 33. Mr. Chapmanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received from dentists concerning proposed changes in dental charges.
§ Dr. VaughanA number of letters have been received about the proposal in the White Paper on the Government's expenditure plans—Cmnd. 7841—that young people who have left school should become liable for dental treatment charges and my right hon. Friend has received a deputation from the British Dental Association. The proposal has since been modified so that the exemption would be retained for school leavers until their 18th birthday.
