asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the number of redundancies that have been notified to his Department for the Bolton travel-to-work area in the 12 months following May 1979.

The number of proposed redundancies notified to my Department under the redundancy handling provisions of the Employment Protection Act 1975, in the Bolton travel-to-work area for May 1979 to April 1980, is as follows:
