§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what was the mortality by age and sex in England and Wales in 1979 of the following categories of diseases: infectious diseases, digestive diseases, genito-urinary diseases, uruilatory diseases, respiratory diseases, accidents and violence, neoplasms, maternal causes and other diseases.
§ Sir George YoungThe mortality data by cause, sex and age for England and Wales for 1979 are not yet available. The provisional numbers of deaths will be issued in an OPCS Monitor later in the year.
