§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will sponsor a study into the establishment of a new museum of industry and the river, to present London's role in the Industrial Revolution, the life and trade of the river and the development of public utilities, to be located in the area of dockland under redevelopment and which would display, in association with the Museum of London, its substantial suitable material which is presently inaccessible to the public.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasI am asking the Standing Commission on museums and galleries to examine this interesting suggestion and to let me have its views.
