HC Deb 31 July 1980 vol 989 c772W
Mr. Churchill

asked the Secretary of State for Trade, further to his reply dated 28 July to the hon. Member for Stretford, how many general aviation night movements are currently authorised at Gatwick; and how many, if any, of the 85 complaints about night aircraft movements in the Gatwick area in the year to 30 June related specifically to general aviation aircraft.

Mr. Tebbit

On the advice of the scheduling committee the whole of the night quotas are allocated for commercial operations. None of the 85 complaints mentioned in my earlier reply in which a particular aircraft was identified concerned general aviation aircraft.
