HC Deb 31 July 1980 vol 989 c841W
Mr. Newens

asked the Minister of Transport if he will publish a list of the number of deaths which have occurred annually as the result of jack-knifing accidents from 1960 to the present available date.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

It is not possible to distinguish between accidents caused by jack-knifing and those in which jack-knifing was a result of the accident. Casualty analysis for such accidents will be possible later in the year; meanwhile the following information is available.
