§ Mr. Alexander FletcherAt the end of June 12,800 young people in Scotland were taking part in the youth opportunities programme and 1,400 in community industry. In addition, some 500 young people were receiving training under schemes organised by industrial training boards jointly with the Manpower Services Commission.
