Mr. Gordon Wilson

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his estimate of the social service costs directly showing gross income in £ sterling equivalent at which income tax on earned incomes becomes payable at 50 per cent. in each of the United Kingdom, the United States of America, France, Germany and Japan, and for each of a single person, a single-wage married couple, and a single-wage couple with two children.
