§ Mr. Ray Powellasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will allow the electors of Evanstown and Abercerdin in the borough of Ogwr a referendum to decide whether they should be registered as electors and ratepayers in the Ogwr borough area or the Taff Ely area.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThere are no proposals to alter the borough boundary between Ogwr and Taff Ely before us at present. The final proposals of the Local Government Boundary Commission for Wales for the special community reviews of Ogwr and Taff Ely have not yet been submitted. The question whether a poll should be held on any particular proposal is for the Commission to consider prior to the submission of final proposals.
