Mr. Moyle

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what were the particular qualifications which caused him to appoint two members of the tobacco industry, Mr. Colin Knowles and Mr. Peter Sanguinette, as members of the arts sponsorship advisory committee.

Mr. St. John Stevas

Mr. Knowles is the chairman of the executive committee of the Association for Business Sponsorship of the Arts and Mr. Sanguinetti has had considerable executive experience in developing business sponsorship of the arts.
