§ Mr. John Townendasked the Lord Privy Seal, in view of the torture of a British subject in Zambia, if he will now take the same steps as were taken in the case of Chile and break off diplomatic relations.
§ Mr. LuceMr. Michael Borlace, a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies formerly resident in Rhodesia was released from detention by the Zambian authorities on 18 July 1980. The British Government do not intend to break off diplomatic relations with Zambia in connection with this case.
