§ Dr. BoysonMy noble Friend the Minister of State has already raised the idea of a scholarship scheme to attract able students to selected training courses of distinction and will be pursuing this with representatives of the local authority associations in discussions about the supply of teachers in subjects where there are shortages. It is too early to say whether a scheme of this kind will be implemented and, if so, what form it might take.
