§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will list all the local authorities and other organisations that have now banned the use of herbicides containing 2,4,5-T.
§ Mr. WigginThis Department does not receive information of an authoritative nature from those sources that would allow an accurate reply, but some local authorities have withdrawn the use of 2.4,5-T by their own employees. Should any such organisation have taken action on the basis of scientific or medical evidence this will be submitted to the Advisory Committee on Pesticides for evaluation during its current review of 2,4,5-T.
